Artificial intelligence can accurately predict how a monkey would play the video game Pac-Man, and mimic the animal’s eye movements as it plays.
Yang Tianming Researchers at the Chinese Academy of Sciences trained two rhesus monkeys to play Pac-Man, with the reward being a juice reward if they collected all the dots in a maze and avoided being caught by a ghost. They also earned rewards by feeding the ghosts after feeding Pac-Man, the player-controlled character, a special dot that made the ghosts defenseless.
