A mysterious form of superconductivity has been discovered in twisted crystals. This could help researchers better understand how to create super-efficient electronics.
Superconductivity is a rare property that allows some materials to conduct electricity without resistance. We only know of materials that become superconductors at low temperatures or extreme pressures, but superconductors at very high temperatures or at room temperature would make it possible to transmit infinite energy over long distances, making it possible for the world to has the potential to transform energy systems.
