In 1972, the UK government raised the minimum school reeber age from 15 to 16 with the goal of providing more students with intellectual skills to modern occupations. Now these teens are in the 60s, but another advantage could emerge. The risk of dementia is low. However, this relationship is far from clear as research from other groups has muddy water.
