Hiding in quiet country lanes in the West Midlands region of England, it is one of the world’s most studied patches of forest.
This fragment of the forest, mainly 180 years old English oak trees (Quercus Robur), is at the heart of major global projects to understand how global forests deal with as rising levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
