The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the United States intends to acquire radar technology capable of detecting individuals behind walls.
This concept of utilizing radar—a system that employs radio waves to bounce off objects and ascertain their locations—has been in existence for at least two to three decades. According to Hugh Griffith from University College London, he describes the field tests conducted with the new system as “impressive” and indicative of how many challenges were effectively addressed.
