Adding toxic waste to the already extensive list of issues caused by global warming, alongside old landfills exposed to coastal erosion, polluted beaches, and oceans.
“Currently, there isn’t a significant amount of toxic waste, but this may change in the future,” stated Andrew Russell from Queen Mary University in London.
