Holly serves as a staff writer for BBC Science Focus, where she manages the well-loved Q&A section. She earned a Master’s Degree (Distinguished) in Earth Sciences (Spatial and Climate Physics) from UCL, focusing on astronomy and Earth Sciences. Prior to her role in media, Holly worked as a geo-environment consultant and engineer, and in her free time, she informed foreigners about ground risks and repairs in northern England. Additionally, she has been a local editor for a popular theatre website for nine years and has extensive experience in curating and developing digital content. Holly is also an artist and illustrator, regularly contributing to the Craft website. Her previous employers include RSPB, English Heritage, Disney, Pilot, Brothers, as well as BBC Good Food Magazine, Home Style Magazine, and Papercraft Inspirations Magazine.
