This image also highlights the latest sample boreholes made by the rover on Mars’ surface, marking 1,500 sols, equivalent to 1,541 Earth days, of patience.
Patience is now covered in red dust due to its extensive excavation of various rocks. Launched in 2020, the samples will eventually return to Earth from Jezero Crater, an ancient lakebed and river delta that may reveal insights into past microbial life.
