At 72, adult creator DD White is part of a growing market for older performers on digital platforms. She sells custom videos for $30 to $200, performs on camera and earns about $12,000 a month with help from her daughters, as demand for “GILF” and other mature-themed content rises.
White says she often spends her afternoons at her computer responding to messages from young men. Some want to buy the lingerie she wears in her videos. Others request a “son-in-law video” in which they pretend to catch their son-in-law looking into their room or shower.
Prices vary based on the description and length of a video. If a customer wants White to say his name, the fee is higher because, she explains, “you can’t resell it.” Speaking from her home office in Orlando, she says, “I want them to come up to me and say I noticed they were looking at me. That’s how it is.”
One request, however, was new to her. The customer wanted her to play his mother and tell him how he came out of her body while he was having sex with her. “It was really awkward,” White says. She declined the request, but says handling unusual solicitations is part of being a sex worker in her 70s.
“I’m very surprised, but young men really want to be with older women,” she says.
Demand for older adult creators
Beyond the Instagram-focused image often associated with OnlyFans and Fansly creators, where youth is among the most marketable attributes, there is growing demand for a different kind of digital performer: GILFs.
In recent years, older creators have joined adult platforms as demand for online adult content has increased. Searches for “GILF” on Pornhub are expected to rise by 129 percent in 2025, making “mature MILF” one of the platform’s leading trends, according to figures the company shared with WIRED. In the United States, interest in older performers was particularly visible in regional search data. Last year, “naughty grandma” was the top related search term in Oregon, while “grandma sex” led in Maine.
From accounting to online adult platforms
At night, after reviewing her messages, White turns to camming. “My show,” she says. In one broadcast the night after the midterm elections, she wore a silk-and-lace maid outfit and told her fans, “Cum and catch the action”.
White entered the industry at 65, after a decades-long career as an accountant. She worked for Score Group, a Miami adult media company that operates dozens of pornography websites, including 60plusmilfs.com.
These days, she works primarily as an independent contractor, uploading content to Streamates, LoyalFans, OnlyFans and her personal website. With help from her daughters, who coordinate social media posts and assist with artwork, White earns about $12,000 a month.
