On the surface, he This is a deliberately provocative book. Jeff Lyman's latest science fiction novel is, in a nutshell, a retelling of the story of Jesus, who is transgender.
However, in that rendering, he Surprisingly unprovocative. That doesn't mean you're timid or dull. It's a much sweeter family story than you might expect. I thought it was a memorable and thought-provoking read.
