The temples of Malta, constructed around 5,000 years ago, appear aligned with a specific star, suggesting that they may have functioned as a center for celestial navigation.
Between 3800 and 2300 BC, the ancient Maltese people erected seven temples across the Maltese Islands. These structures, made from massive stone blocks weighing several tons each, are among the earliest examples of megalithic architecture.
