Some of my earliest memories of stargazing involve these same seven stars. Whether known as the Plough, Big Dipper, or a pot, almost everyone learns to spot this asterism early on. However, just because many can identify the Plough and the constellations featuring Ursa Major, doesn’t imply they’ve thoroughly explored this section of the night sky.
