In an old safe at the Australian Museum in Sydney, a paleontologist Tim Flannery Carefully remove a shoebox-sized container and place it on the table, inside which, like Russian dolls, are more boxes and containers.
Once fully exposed and unfolded, nine tiny fragments of fossilized jawbone were found. If Flannery and his colleagues are right, we have a glimpse into a lost world, a previously unknown chapter of mammal life…
