Dust blown from the arid expanses of the Sahara desert is regularly carried over parts of Europe, negatively impacting air quality. But recently, such dust intrusions have increased eightfold, even during unusually cold seasons, and their rapid increase in frequency and intensity has led researchers to believe they are becoming more common. I’m concerned about something.
