Diamonds from deep in the earth

I squint at the diamonds in my palm. As the gem progresses, it’s nothing special. It is smaller than rice grains and is full of impurities, resulting in lower prices. However, for my favourite researcher Nester Korolevthese impurities are invaluable for information revealing geological processes deep within the Earth. “We hope to discover new minerals,” he says.
