A team of scientists and engineers head to Greenland next month to test Arctic Friedrone.
Currently, most data on the condition of Greenland ice sheets comes from satellite monitoring and crew flights. Drones may offer cheaper and more accurate solutions, and researchers can unlock near real-time monitoring of rapidly melting features.
