A survey of college students found that most women who had vaginal intercourse with men had experienced pain during intercourse.
Carlotta Osterling Researchers at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands wanted to understand what factors cause women to experience pain during sexual intercourse, so they conducted a questionnaire survey about pain during intercourse among 277 female students at the university aged 18 to 33.
