Indian people's genomes contain extensive Neanderthal DNA

The largest genome study of South Asians in history has uncovered extensive Neanderthal DNA sequences from modern Indians. The discovery raises the possibility that complete Neanderthal genomes can be constructed from living humans, rather than relying on DNA from ancient ruins.
