Another antimatter record has been broken. In the highly energetic lead ion grinding, researchers have revealed evidence of the heaviest antimatter version of the nucleus ever seen.
In 2024, researchers from the Star Collaboration at Brookhaven National Laboratory in New York’s Relativistic Heavy Ion Corridor (RHIC) reported that they had temporarily created a heavy, then-heavy anti-mattal nucleus known as anti-hydrogen-4.
