To protect their data from being utilized for AI training, some online users have turned to a social media statement known as Copypasta.
Copypasta is a block of text circulated across the internet, functioning as a type of random text meme.
This could range from a collection of letters, numbers, and punctuation marks forming facial expressions, to an inappropriate, exaggerated rant attributed to a supposed Navy seal.
Alternatively, it may consist of text within an image stating something like “Farewell Meta AI… neither Meta nor any other entity has my consent to use my personal data.”
Content itself is not a concern, as it is deemed “misinformation” by the platform, rendering it overlooked.
