For thousands of years, mathematicians pinned PIs

Who was the first person to calculate the PI? When dividing the circumference of a circle by diameter, you always seem to get the same number, or numbers above 3. Of course, we never know exactly, but it’s a reasonable assumption that they lived around 4,000 years ago.
Let’s start with the ancient Egyptians. Papyrus, around 1550 BC, looks like a kind of mathematics textbook.
