Spectral is pleased to announce our participation in Hugging Face’s Expert Support Program. Spectral is collaborating with deep learning experts at Hugging Face to advance open source models, datasets, and applications for the on-chain agent economy.
How to use hug face
Hugface plays an important role throughout the Spectral organization. Through the Expert Support Program, Spectral meets regularly with the Hugging Face team to plan new use cases, strategize dataset construction, and develop training strategies.
Earlier this year, Spectral announced Syntax. Building the syntax required custom datasets for both fine-tuning and RAG, an original Solidity evaluation dataset created by elite smart contract developers, and experimentation across a wide range of open and closed source models.
Spectral's approach to dataset preparation, training, routing, and evaluation was significantly improved during this process, primarily with the assistance of experts at Hugging Face. Regularly discussing Spectral's approach means the company always receives unbiased feedback on its decisions and can re-evaluate its strategy if necessary. This is important for both the fine-tuning and evaluation steps, and several improvements have been made thanks to the Hugging Face team.
Spectral also leverages Hugging Face for inference in production via a dedicated inference endpoint. Fully managed infrastructure allows Spectral to quickly iterate on new models, easily update containers and hardware configurations, autoscale to meet demand, and keep production costs low.

On-chain agent economy
Syntax is pioneering an accessible on-chain agent economy, allowing users to choose agents customized for specific tasks.
