At home I am surrounded by fossils. They're in my clothes, carpets, upholstery, the packaging that wraps the food I buy, and the countless cleaning products I use every day. The contact lenses in my eyes are also full of fossils.
I'm not talking about ancient life forms preserved in rocks (although I have quite a few of them too), but deposited millions of years ago and brought back to the surface by the oil industry. We're talking about fossilized carbon atoms.
