Signs of chronic fatigue syndrome may show up in your blood

Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) may one day be able to be diagnosed with a blood test after researchers detected 116 biomarkers in people with the condition.
CFS, also known as myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME), typically causes extreme fatigue, sleep problems and brain confusion, with symptoms worsening after exercise or mental activity.
The cause of CFS is unknown. Doctors diagnose it by ruling out other conditions that cause similar symptoms, such as anemia and reduced mobility.
