Alice Roberts (Simon & Schuster)
Another year, another really good book by archaeologist Alice Roberts. Part of me wants to realize that the quality has gone down, out of sheer surprise, but no, her standards are as high as ever.
Mr Roberts may be Britain’s most famous archaeologist, thanks in part to his frequent television appearances. She has also written a series of books including; wolf lord, her first children’s novel. Her specialty is osteoarchaeology.
