The asteroid Bennu is baffling scientists, and the Spacelock sample shows stranger properties than expected. These include extremely high nitrogen levels and indivisible magnetic properties.
Ever since NASA’s Osiris-Rex Spacecraft returned samples from an asteroid to Earth in 2023, scientists have been analyzing Bennu’s rock masses.
