Computer programmers are being challenged to write the world's most despicable and most confusing code in the race that opens next week. To win, participants must find a way to confuse the judges on their first reading and write programs in C that perform unusual, unexpected, or catastrophic tasks at runtime.
International Obfuscation C Code Contest (IOCCC) began in 1984 and co-founder of its Landon Norsays it is the longest-running online competition of all kinds.
