Gravitational wave signals that appear to emanate from colliding black holes may actually come from colliding strange and exotic stars. It's been theorized, but we don't know if it exists. If so, physicists will need to reconsider the standard theory of gravity and particles.
For almost 60 years, researchers have been thinking about the possible cosmic objects that would be possible if there was more gravity than Albert Einstein suggested.
