By 2025, humanoid robots will be introduced in increasing numbers into warehouses, car factories, and even some homes, but it remains to be seen whether they will really take hold.
The machines in this new revolution differ from existing work robots, which are primarily single-arm robots that perform repetitive movements on assembly lines or wheeled robots that move around warehouses. A humanoid robot with two arms and legs should fit more easily into spaces designed for humans, but it will require better artificial intelligence processing to make that happen…
