One of the most mysterious phenomena in the universe may finally be explained. It could be caused by interactions between a “dead” neutron star and a planet closely orbiting around it.
The strange phenomenon in question is repeated Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs). These are a series of powerful radio waves beaming towards us from distant galaxies. His FRB 121102, discovered in 2012, was the first to be discovered to repeatedly transmit radio waves.
