It’s that time of year, at least in the northern hemisphere, when people start planning their summer vacations. I am in the market myself and am thinking of taking my sons to Mexico in July. Of course it will fly. I know I’m a hypocrite for preaching a green lifestyle while participating in one of the most climate-damaging activities. I always buy the carbon offset option, but it always feels like it’s been greenwashed. Now that I’ve looked into it, I think that feeling is correct.
On my last flight, I paid an additional $27.84.
