Ten years ago, I was asked to predict what science education in schools would look like in 100 years. I answered, somewhat playfully, that things would be exactly the same as they were 100 years ago. A classroom full of children sit at desks with a teacher in front of them. Today, I think it's even harder to feel comfortable thinking about questions like this because I'm concerned that the way we teach science to some students has changed.
