Black holes in the early universe had almost half the mass of their host galaxies, even though they were no longer sucking in matter, raising questions about how black holes grow.
Meanwhile Ignace Juojuvaris Researchers at the University of Cambridge were examining data from the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) when they discovered something unusual. It was a galaxy with a black center, seen from our vantage point about 800 million years after the Big Bang.
