Mark Zuckerberg is A giant sculpture of his wifePriscilla Chan.
“I want to revive the Roman tradition of making sculptures of wives,” the Facebook CEO and co-founder said in a photo of the statue posted to Instagram.
The large sculpture was created by New York-based artist Daniel Arsham, who has collaborated with brands like Tiffany & Co. and Dior. Rendered in green, Chan appears to be mid-stride, with a large silver cape trailing behind him.
Zuckerberg’s photo shows Chan standing next to the 7-foot-tall statue, which sits under a tree, and in the comments section, Chan wrote, “The more me the better,” along with a heart emoji.
People magazine, Declared Zuckerberg, who calls himself “the ultimate wifey!”, reports that in Roman times, statues were sometimes made to honor loved ones who had passed away or to “show cherished kinship and create meaningful connections.”
The statue has received a mostly positive response from Zuckerberg’s supporters.
“Such a beautiful girl, what a lucky girl,” one person wrote, while the account “The Billionaires [sic] Lifestyle”Posting pictures of rich people and expensive things [sic] There are [a] “Museum,” was the message captioned the post, accompanied by clapping and fire emojis.
But not everyone was impressed. Andrew Mwangi wrote: “This is the most billionaire thing ever,” one user said, while another called deviletter commented, “Wow this is totally disgraceful.”
Zuckerberg hasn’t posted photos on Facebook lately. video The photo shows him surfing while wearing a tuxedo and holding an American flag.
