Every year, the prestigious Astronomy Photographer of the Year contest showcases incredible views from our solar system and beyond, with this year’s finalist photos being no exception.
Featuring stunning Aurora Borealis images and breathtaking views of the Milky Way, choosing a winner among them will be a difficult task.
Organized by the Royal Greenwich Observatory for the past 16 years, the BBC Sky at Night Magazine Astronomy Photographer of the Year awards will announce this year’s winner at a special ceremony on September 12, 2024.
The winning works will be exhibited at the National Maritime Museum starting from Saturday, September 14th, alongside a selection of outstanding photographs.
