A French health insurance company tested its medical chatbot with hundreds of people in the largest real-world trial of its kind for medical AI.
Technology companies have long promised that their AI will relieve pressure on doctors by providing accurate medical advice, but critics are skeptical about AI’s accuracy and potential risks, and widespread success I have not been able to contain it. Babylon Health, one of the most well-known AI healthcare companies, went bankrupt last year.
