One of my favourite memories from July 2020 is standing outside on a clear summer evening, gazing through shaky binoculars at the beautiful comet C/2020 F3, colloquially known as NEOWISE. It was a strange time to say the least, but stargazing felt like it brought me closer to like-minded friends and family who we hadn’t been able to meet in person due to COVID-19 restrictions. And catching a glimpse of NEOWISE (pictured) was a real highlight of this time for me.
