Although a quantum Rubik's Cube will be infinitely more complex than a traditional puzzle, mathematical modeling shows that it is not unsolvable.
In the summer of 2022, Noah Rhodey and Maedy Trunk-Green Dr. Boulder and his colleagues at the University of Colorado made a bet on how many possible states there are in a quantum Rubik's cube. In order to even make a guess, we first needed to define what we meant by a quantum Rubik's cube.
