Astronomers have rare glimpses into the heart of the Milky Way thanks to a false star exiled from the center of the galaxy.
In the middle of our galaxy is an ultra-high Massive black hole, closely surrounded by groups of hundreds of stars. A little more outside there is a larger disk of stars, and even out is an even larger group of stars known as nuclear star clusters (NSCs).
