Researchers have uncovered new details about how some fish regenerate their tails after injury, potentially bringing regenerative medicine closer to humans.
“Humans have all the ingredients to regenerate, but we don’t do it,” he says. Augusto Ortega Granillo at Stowers Medical Research Institute in Missouri. “Something is missing. We believe that the missing piece is the regulatory part.”
