Zebras seem to communicate by shaking their heads.

Zebras shake their heads to get attention and begin social interactions such as grooming and moving together. This may be one of the few documented examples of signals used by animals to coordinate behavior.
The ability of multiple animals to focus on a shared goal or object in their environment, known as joint attention, is key to human cooperation but has been little studied in the wild.
