In February, I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Book 360 convertible laptop from Currys for £1,279.
Several months later, I noticed two hairline cracks on the screen after leaving it on a table overnight. To clarify, I have never dropped or damaged the laptop.
Upon researching online, I found numerous reports of similar experiences from other users.
According to Samsung’s forum, there are numerous accounts of spontaneous screen cracking.
Some users even encountered the same issue with multiple devices, suggesting a potential design flaw.
Both Currys and Samsung have refused to provide assistance, citing accidental damage as the cause.
Despite my request for a refund due to the apparent flaw in the laptop’s design, no resolution was reached.
It appears that there is a widespread problem with the Galaxy 360, as evidenced by numerous complaints from users.
After revisiting the case, Currys has now offered a full refund and a goodwill gesture of £100, acknowledging the inconvenience faced by the customer.
Samsung, on the other hand, did not directly address the allegations regarding their product’s quality.
While JB’s case has been resolved satisfactorily, it remains unclear if others will have confidence in purchasing this product.
Please take note of this experience.
