Boehm said the company wants to be intentional about hiring and training migrant workers because it is difficult for immigrants to get good jobs in Germany, regardless of their skills or background. This is something Boehm witnessed firsthand when he worked as operations director for fast grocery delivery startup Gorillaz, and he doesn’t want their skills to go to waste.
