Origami logic gates could be the basis for computers

A piece of paper folded according to the rules of origami could theoretically perform any imaginable calculation, from adding numbers to running the latest artificial intelligence software, but in reality it may be useless.
Although we usually think of computation as being performed using silicon chips, anything that can represent or manipulate information can be used as a computer. For example, dominoes arranged in the correct pattern are Add two numbers together.
