Scalar AI is an agent workbench that automates time-consuming security tasks and comes with fully functional incident triage and enrichment with built-in AI-driven quality review. The free license has no restrictions (such as local use) and allows CISO teams to leverage the SCALR AI platform and deploy it in their own Azure private tenant. Teams can use tools within the platform to build additional workflows such as threat hunting, vulnerability management, and phishing analysis. Rather than building each workflow manually, security teams configure multi-agent workflows, agents, tools, and MCP servers to work together.
SCALR AI is deployed within the customer’s own Azure tenant, so security data and AI workflows remain in the customer’s environment rather than a shared SaaS instance. Built-in cost visibility. Security teams can see and manage the cost of running each workflow, agent, and model, rather than absorbing indiscriminate token spend. The platform also supports LLM, which security teams already use, so teams aren’t locked into a single model.
There are no license fees for SCALR AI. Customers only pay for the Azure compute they use in their workflows and are billed directly by Microsoft at standard Azure rates. Because SCALR AI selects a model for each task rather than routing everything through a single high-cost model, its computational fees are significantly lower than the combined license and consumption fees that other AI security platforms charge for comparable work.
